Pearts Solicitors is a long established, family run business providing professional and friendly legal services. Pearts also act as Town Agents for solicitors throughout the country. Over the past 135 years, Pearts Solicitors and Town Agents have evolved and have become the leading provider of Dublin Agency services for country solicitors, operating from their offices in Ormond Quay in Dublin.
As well as being Town Agents, Pearts Solicitors also runs a comprehensive private client service from their Rathmines branch, headed up by Tadgh Kelly, Senior Associate with Pearts Solicitors.
The Problem
As a firm that offers a wide range of legal services, including agency services, the system that Pearts Solicitors were using to input data and orders had become increasingly outdated.
It did not connect properly with their existing accounts package, making it difficult to get proper insight into the financial running of the business. Pearts needed a solution that would return proper financial data, an all-in-one erp software solution that would allow them to enter their orders and cases, convert to invoices, and provide much needed reports that would enable them to run their business efficiently. It was also important that this solution allow them to securely update data while in court and away from the office.
Newtec Services’ Solution
Having listened carefully to what Pearts required, we knew that we had an all-in-one solution that would meet all of their needs. And, having supported Pearts IT network for many years, we had the expertise to deliver this complex project.
NetSuite’s ERP software solution would allow Pearts to implement a seamless process, enabling them to enter orders, convert to invoice, produce more detailed reports, and run their business more efficiently. This project required a large amount of customisation so that the processes and workflows would suit the way Pearts operated their Town Agency business.
Succeeding at this project involved sitting down with members of Pearts and going through each process thoroughly in order to gain valuable insight into how their business is run. Doing so allowed us to deliver the project exactly to their needs.
As NetSuite is a 100% cloud based solution, requiring no in-house hardware, it also met the important requirement of access to data even outside of the office. This feature ensures that remote employees can update vital information on the system immediately. It also provides them with the opportunity to securely access financial data more readily. With NetSuite’s fully customizable dashboards, staff can, with a single click of a button, have all their important information instantly available on a single screen.
